Yesterday after work I was reaching the door step when MIL called. I entered the door and first thing said was Chloe got a flu she had 2 "long" water drips down from her nose. Then asked if want to bring her see doc. My first tot to my mind was "SICK!" I really do not like the idea of Chloe visiting the doc cos she is sick and the tot of eating medicine really puts me off. To me, a young baby shouldn't be exposed to so many medicines in her body which will results in a weaker constitution in future and won't be immune anymore. I even read on books that baby should not take antibotics at all, and if fall sick let it heal naturally instead by medicines. The next tot that came to my mind was breastmilk! I really regret I didn't persevere in giving her total breastfeeding and giving in to others saying she is not full and not getting enough nutritions. Then I tot Davy who said his wife is still doing total breastfeeding and his baby has not fallen sick at all even though at night she sleeps in between them who is either coughing or sneezing away. Haiz.. now really think that breastmilk is very important. Then I tot again of those who could not give breastmilk, will the baby fall sick easily? Or is only mine that she is not strong enough like me who always fall sick easily? I can only console myself that at least she is drinking some breastmilk compared to drinking none to make me feel better. Maybe after all it will help her in future. Lucky thing is doc also feel she is too young to go on medications and so he prescribe her nose drops. Her flu is mild. I hope she do not have to use nose drops after the first dose.

During the doc examining, she was really cute. Doc has to put a thermometer under her armpit to see if she has a fever. She kept staring at the thermometer thinking what is that, can see that she sees it until "DOU JI YAN" Lol. Next, doc got to hear her lungs by the back, and she fidget about like very ticklish behind. Suepr funny and all of us were laughing. Lucky she didn't cry in the room else I think the whole room will "tear down". Haha.

Of cos, I will carry to try to find ways to increase breastmilk supply so that she can have breastmilk for all feeds. Right now, taking fenugreek hopefully it works for me.

Bought story books and flashcards for her intend to read to her when I go back home but these 2 days are really hectic got no chance to read to her. Hopefully tonight all will be well and I can start to read to her and have some fun.
