Weekend at Batu

Super tiredzz. After a weekend trip to Batu to visit Mr's grandma. I think this is the latest night we ever reached SG after a visit. 12midnight plus. Due to our frantic shopping and traffic jam as usual at Tuas Checkpoint.

We set off at 3plus on Sat afternoon which is a little late than usually we set off as well. Hee. Reached there around 6, settled down, and usual routine to go Ajisen for dinner with Mr. But my stomach suddenly felt so pain after having the ramen, but this pain has been persistence since Wed lunch time after I ate Jap Eel Rice at the canteen. Cry. But still I went on to shop at Summit until 10plus before we all return back to rest. Again, we bought clothes for Chloe, cos is really cheap there and some are nice. Couldn't sleep properly that night due to the stomach pains. Sad, even if it is food posioning but I did not have diarhoea, weird hur..

Next morning, which by surprise, the little one slept until 9am! Even me and Mr already woke up at 8plus, cos my stomach pain! So we laid there and chatted, why Chloe haven't wake up and she always sleep so well in other places than home. Haha.She wriggled and tot she woke up, so we pretended to sleep. Then who knows, she didn't move and we peeped, SHE SLEPT AGAIN! Few minutes later she wriggle and got up again, same thing happened. She went back to sleep seeing us sleep. The third time she really woke up and sat there, laid down and stretched, and then sat up again. Looking at the wall, we made some noise, she turned back to see us sleeping. Hehe. She turned back staring at the wall, again, this time Mr wanted to scare her. Haha. 1, 2, 3 CHLOE! She turned and laughed! Haha. This was how we started the day earlier than rest. Fed her, bathed her, played with her.

Around 3plus, by right, we agreed to go City Square at Johor to shop, but the time didn't allow us to. So we went back to Summit to do our last minute groceries shopping then head to Pacific Mall for dinner. Went to a HK cafe for dinner like those in SG and the prices there are relatively cheaper. The food is not bad too. Yum. After dinner, when we wanted to walk around, then realise the time was already 8 plus. Quickly made our way to Vinnci to check out were there any nice shoes. NO. Sianz. But we ended up buying 6 Wii games. Hehe. Now only waiting for Mr to buy the modification chip to mod our Wii then we can start to play those games! YAY!

On our way back to SG, was really terror! During our shopping trip, Chloe slept. Prayed she slept until reached SG. But who knows in the car, Rianne screamed, and Chloe woke up. And stayed wide awake until we reached SG. So you can imagine what happened in the car, jumping around, cannot sit still, shouting, singing, making irritating songs. Cry. We even said "Like this we already cannot tahan, what happened when we go KL during CNY 5 hours in the car?!" I think all of us will go crazy and when we got off the car, all our hair will be very messy and down came Chloe out of the car with a smirking smile that she has conquered all of us! OMG! I really cannot imagine, so we were still deciding or not to take the plane up to KL but is gonna cost a bomb during CNY. HOW!!! Can someone suggest? Other than giving her sleeping pills. HAHA. LUckily she slept through when we were on our way to Batu. :)

Reached home put down the stuffs, fed her milk, make her sleep, by the time I already going to KO. Dragged myself to bathe and laid on the bed beside her. Mr joined us and suddenly we were chatting again about whether to go SG flyer this Sat before Chloe's birthday party starts, since is free sponsored by his Company's family day. Luckily we chatted for 15mins and I drifted into my dream..

I thanked the small one for not waking up to drink milk, Haha, but she did make noise but Mr just stuffed the pacifier in her mouth and she slept. If every night is like this... I would suffer from inadequate sleep. Haha.
Looking forward to this Sat!!! Wondered what will happened, how she will react when she sees the POOH decorated room, and her bdae cake! OMG!! Hope everything turn out fine. See u all who will be attending! :)

Sickly weekends..

Weekends were spoilt! Can't go out with Twin to carry on Chloe's birthday preparation. But to stay home and rest.

It all happened on Fri afternoon about 5pm, when boss finished talking to me for 2 hours. When I returned back to my desk, I suddenly felt a pain in my throat. SORE THROAT! And FLU! Dunno what happened. But it was a long talk from my boss, about how the way a proposal should be written. Stories about how to be successful and climb. How to look for opportunity and take control of all the regions. Boss kept complimenting I have strong language skills which is an advantage over most people, and he will teach me to use this advantage in other areas and WIN. Morale of the story is play mind games. After talking so much to me, I felt I really like this job and him in a way, and even felt happy after hearing him, like a motivating talk. But I still have to rewrite my proposal and email to him by 6pm otherwise on Mon. But I gave my best and complete before I left home. Hope to leave an impression. Worried and anxious what comments he is going to give on Mon. I am still waiting till now, maybe later I will ask him about it.

Ya, so Sat morning have to go visit the doctor cos my throat DAMN PAIN! Whole weekends I was like a zombie. Luckily my sprained ankle was getting better, could walk without limping. Haha. Next Sat is CHLOE's BIRTHDAY!! VERY EXCITED! Hope the whole party turns out FUN for everyone.

Still sick. And unhappy with coll. This is not the first time already. He asked me to setup a server and he only provided minimal instructions and guidance. And he asked me to do it. When I have question, I asked him, and what I got back from him was he just trying to shift the question to elsewhere, in other words, asking myself to solve it cos he is BUSY. He is always using BUSY as an excuse not to teach me anything. I really very angry! Sometimes I feel my lead also another one. Maybe they looked down on woman doing IT. In the interview, my lead told me that woman are very bad and lousy in IT. (already shows he look down on woman!) I really don't like working with such coll, but what to do. This kind of situation can only show when u come in. But luckily there is another coll, though not in the same team literally, but he is helpful and teaches properly. Maybe I can rely on him to give me answers, since he has been working longer than my coll. :( Very sad to have such coll. I angrily wanted to show them I got the talent, but somehow got heart but no energy. Servers configurations are internal ways, cannot be googled. Haiz, I guess that is why coll wont teach u much, scared take away his job. Haha. Anyways.. bear with it lor. I believe in time, I will master it. Thanks to the skill of making friends, become frens with one of the HR, and eventually my lunch partner. :)

Nice weekends..

Weekends has always been rush but nice for all of us. I can say last week's time really passed very fast, when I dragged myself to work on Monday, cos being new, there is nothing much for me to do for now, so I felt I am dragging myself to work, but nonetheless, Friday came very soon. I guessed cos whole week I been stressed on 2 presentations and working on my powerpoint slides. First presentation will come very soon which is on this Thurs with all HODs, which include as well the MD. Kaoz. Cold Feet. The next presentation will be on 12 Dec on the all staff quarterly meeting. Besides, I still got to put up a presentation with a group of new staff to "present" ourselves. Kaoz, never in my life to do so many presentations. :( After all, it may be a new experience for me, and who knows, a new life may be embarked. Haha, being a public speaker for Siemens. Haha. Dreaming.

But anyways, sat met up with Twin, to go to AMK to order Chloe's 1st birthday cake. Cost me $180 for a 4kg 3 tiered cake, with custom made designs. But of cos, still cheaper than the 3D ecreative cake which I wanted, $240. Though my Ah Kim wanna sponsor me, but I think is not necessary, she can put the money in ang bao for me. Haha. Sat was really tiring for me, I almost travelled whole Spore's MRT line, from Chinese Garden to Expo MPH Book Fair, to get Mr the books he wanted as a surprise for him, cos the price is not any cheaper in Book Fest @ Suntec. Then rushed down to Orchard for my facial, after got a book for Mr again as I couldn't find at Expo. Then rushed down to AMK again to meet Twin to order the cake. Then rushed down to Bugis Tekka Mall to get balloons' ribbons. Then rushed home. See! I travel almost whole MRT line, except part of red line and Twin said still got north east line! Zzz. Oh I felt so upgraded when I actually bought 3 storybooks for myself, first time in my life I bought books for myself !!! Wonder when will I finish those books. Haha.

At last, ordering of cake is done. Getting the party stuffs is done. Except for ordering of buffet due to some frens not yet reply (Sad), and getting some big stones then we are all DONE and READY! 2 more weeks!

Sat evening went to Mr's cousin's girl's 1st Birthday. So cute to see a baby walks. Like penguin. And Chloe has started to walk on her own at least 10 steps! Good progress! She is those kind that must praise her then she will do those stunts. Argh. Guess all kids are the same. So when you see her, clap your hands and she will be happie. Haha. Sun afternoon went Jurong Point to buy my cup for office, and a card case cover to put my pass. All done. Got a Forever Friends cup. Hee. Headed home. Supposed to go visit West Coast plaza for dinner, but me and Mr quite sian, ended up we ordered 933 golden pillow. Hehe. Nice but cannot finish. Ordered too much. Haha.

Overall, a nice weekend coupled with watching the little Chloe's walking. Video posted.

Chloe walking on her own, still learning and balancing stage...

It has been 4th day working in Siemens for me. One of my new-made fren in orientation actually remarked that I actually downgraded from Terrace house to HDB. Haha. As Cisco Systems actually provided alot of "luxuries" for its staffs, like free snacks and good quality drinks, and long lunch breaks, while here was... factory kinda setting. But after having lunch with my boss today, and he talked alot on different working environments and the disadv of working in big companies in shenton way, etc. Which really makes alot of sense. Working in big companies in Shenton way, dressed nicely, doesn't mean u are earning alot, etc. While those working in Tuas or factory areas are those who are earning alot, cos factories earn money you earn money in terms of profits. This I agree fully with him. That's why now I am here. Haha. I been to big companies, so now is time for me to have an experience change. But anyways, all's well. So far so good. Boss and colleagues nice people for now. Hehe. Who knows what will happen right. Hehe.

Now been tasked to do some ISO stuffs for company. And I will have my first presentation in Dec to the company in the quarterly meeting. Geez.. I really hate to talk and present. But what to do, there will be lots coming up. Wish I have half of Cheryl's ability. Haha.

Weekends was normal, it supposed to be abnormal due to Mr went for the Subaru challenge but dropped out during the first dinner break on Sat evening. So sad for him, as this is the first year he managed to get in and had a sure-win position, all cos of the guy infront of him rub his ass against his D***. Haha. So is really wasted.. Else who knows maybe he is still inside, and I even planned everyday after work go visit him, thinking of the days when he can fetch me to work, etc. And he even said SEE YOU ON WED NIGHT when he bid goodbye to me on Sat wee early morning. Lol. But is ok, can always go again next year.

Is also good, that he can accompany me and Chloe during weekends. Hehe. But I told him to go back to rest after he gave up on Sat night, while me went to my cousin's birthday and slept over at my mum's place after. Only returned home on Sun afternoon, after having Dim Sum lunch with family and relatives. N yes, collected Chloe's birthday cake's toppers! So excited to bring it to the cake shop this Sat to discuss the design. Hope they accept my Pooh n Frens figurines. Keep fingers crossed. :X

So by this Sat, got to complete most stuffs with Twin. Discuss cake design with the shop, getting ribbons for the balloons from Tekka Mall, and balloon weights to buy, and table cloth, drawing out words for banners. Hope to complete all by this Sat so that next Sat can be a rest day for us. Haha.
