It's been 2 weeks since I started work again. The feeling of coming back to work is so... At first, during the first 3 months of leave, I wished to go back to work soon, but comes the night before, I don't feel like going to work which means of getting up earlier, and tons of emails to read and the idea of missing mei mei. Morning comes, the feeling of don't wish to go to work gets stronger, but once I put on the new clothes, I felt like I going to a new workplace.. but of cos, I really do miss mei mei when I bid her goodbye. Lucky I didn't cry.. LOL.
When I reached workplace, 2 colleagues were like, "uh, you so fast come back liao ah? You were like gone and back so soon!" I do not know what to reply but wish I can go back home to continue my maternity leave. Haha. And back to downloading all the emails and total there were about 5000 emails, I think I never recieve so many emails before in my life! I felt so lost don't know what to do in a flash, and the guy, Sam, who covered me leaves on the same day I returned to work which means I got no time to settle down before I take back all my cases. How sad! But never mind, I spend almost the whole day clearing emails and organising them and trying to read them. And worst of all, my passwords all expired and only the next day then the connection will be back! I guess all these are the disadavantages of going for long leave though you are at home relaxing and enjoying. This is so called the 先甜后苦!
Enough of work said, recently just before my I go back to work, on a Sat, went for the IT show which is last week, at last I bought my long-waited WII. Me and Mr been to quite some places to see how much they selling before we decide where to buy. But the thing is we cannot choose our own games as they came bundled with the console. So ended up, maybe we give it a try at the IT show. Their offer was you just need to buy 2 games of any value and you get the console for $555. Wow at first was like what a good deal, cos can choose your own game.. So we were browsing thru the games and the new games were like $79, the vendor also not stupid haha.. who will buy those old games (plus not fun!) right? So we stood there for a while, thinking whether to buy ornot, and I guess the crowded and pushing environment made me a decision to buy, thinking faster buy and faster get outta of here. LOL. So in total we actually spend about $800 plus, with 2 games of higher value and one game of $38. And we bought another controller as the bundle only comes with one. I got so happy choosing games, but when comes to paying, can feel a knife into my heart.. haha.. take it as an investment lo (Consoling myself..).
And on Sat, was mei mei's first baby massage lesson. I woke her up at 7.30am to feed her some milk as she needs to be fed one hour before the massage. I thought she would be awake after the feed but who knows the piglet went back to sleep! Until she reach the place, I tot she might be hungry, but she rejected the bottle. Weird.. So we went sitting at the counter waiting to pay the lesson fees, and more couples with their baby started to come in as well. And opposite of me sat a lady with her daughter, same age as mei mei. And the babies were facing each other, and the funny thing is they keep staring at each other and then smile until so happy. Haha.. set us all laughing as well. Lucky thing is I did not change mei mei shorts, else they both will be wearing the same shorts as well!
Lesson starts and all the babies have to lie down on the mattress while the parents learn to sing the massage songs along with Mrs Wong. Then the real massage teaching starts along with the singing of songs. It's really very fun! And some babies started to cry. Mrs Wong carried one by one to stop them from crying, she said she can "talk" to the babies and true enough they stopped crying and even one slept on her shoulders. Haha.. Mei mei was behaving unexpectedly good to my surprise, and she lie there for us to massage. The baby boy next to us started crying very loudly until Mrs Wong ask the dad to bring him out to calm him down. Then suddenly the mother asked me "Wow she very good girl, is she always like that?" Then I was "HUH! No la! She always cry one, and very loud!" Then after a while, mei mei start to throw temper liao! Haha! Mrs Wong also carried her, talked to her, but ended up she quiet a while then she start to make noise liao, I think she really special, other babies will quieten but not for her.. Lol. Then Mrs Wong said she is hungry and want to sleep ask me to go out and feed her. And so true, she is hungry and while she eats she sleeps! My god, I wondered when will I ever distinguished her cries. The funny thing is Mrs Wong also know whenever she wakes up she cries, and then she very PA BAI (in cantonese, means very fussy and must give her top priority!) Haha.. But lucky she still knows how to smile at strangers and Mrs Wong.. cos I don't want her to be a "DAO GIRL" haha.. So fast lesson ended, and this coming sat is the last lesson and we can take photos and graduate! Is going to be another fun lesson.
After the massage, suddenly Mr ask, shall we go to AMK hub to buy extra Wii controllers! I was shocked and so we went to buy 2 more so that more people can play! And we also bought another game! Another $200 plus gone! Total spend on Wii was like 1k plus! Then we went to KK hospital to collect her name stamp we made for her and to CCK to collect the rayman rabbid that we didn't take at the IT show when we bought the rayman game. What a fulfilling day running here and there. And was actually very tired. And yes, while we were at CCK carpark, making a turn, Mr went passed and bang the wall, causing a big big dent on the side door. Lucky the door still can open and close! Hehe...
Yesterday all of us, my sister in law and her hubby and me and Mr were having a game of Mario game. Was really fun when it comes to competing in the minigames! I guess this is a real good investment to actually make the family bonding stronger. I also wish that one day I can bring the set over to my home though Mr think is really very troublesome. Shall see how ba..
Looking forward to this fri holiday and weekends! I hope every weekend will be a fulfilling one.
