30th March 2008

Long waited for this day to come, on 30th March 2008 around evening 6.30pm, Chloe did her first flip over while the 3 of us were lying on the bed. Me and Mr were talking on the bed, with her in between, then suddenly she just rolled over! We were like stunned. Then second time she did it again with her head up. But somehow there will be flaws.. like her right arm still dunno how to move out to balance herself. So at times she will just topple back and she will CRY! She kept trying until cry also. When we helped her she also cry. Really dunno what she wants, I guess she wanted to crawl as well.. Anyways, I believe these few days she will perfect her flipping skills. :)

Today I was working at home and whole day she was still trying to turn. As usual, she flip until cry again cos of her right arm not able to balance herself. So in the end, she kept crying until have to carry her whole day infront of the computer working. Realise she wants to sit up. My god, haven't learn how to crawl, want to learn how to sit!

She loves sitting on Daddy's stomach. She doesn't look Chinese and doesn't look like her when in person.

For so long I managed to take her big smile, by putting my face next to the cam and make her smile then shoot it without her notice.

See.. she just wanna sit up no matter what.

Prior to this, we really had a busy weekend, sourcing for a maid. At last, without any thinking, went down to Bukit Timah Shopping Center, JPB maid agency which my colleague recommended, which is also advertised by Li Nan Xing. I never ever dreamt that I would be sitting in a maid agency looking at maids' biodata. The woman kept calling me Mdm, and Mr Sir, and my mum in law Ah Ma. I really felt so weird, so do all of us. She gave us biodata of just 3 best Mynamar maids, aged 33 and 23 for 2 of them. As it is a new market therefore they do not have alot of Mynamar ones. And very quickly we decide on the 23 one, looked pleasant of the 3. As long as my mum in law likes it, cos she will be the one facing her everyday. :)

Definitely hiring a maid is a very tiring tasks, after you decide, you got to sign contract and so many fineprints. And have to read it cos it meant money and "cheat". By the time I went to page 4, I cannot take it anymore and ask Mr to read. But I guess he just sped read it lo.. but we do have photocopies of it. Our next task is to go online to take the employer's test to make we pass, haha.. as if we will like torture the maid. I really can't wait for the day to come which is like a month later but at the same time felt lost as not sure if we are able to coach the maid and will we become chicken and duck talking. Stressed until I dreamt of maid every night. Scary lo.

But at least one task is cleared in looking for a maid. Hopefully our life has settled down a bit. It has been too "exciting" ever since we had this baby. :)
