We went to the zooo...

Time really flies and is already mid-week, which by right, I should be updating my blog every mon. Work seemed to be piling up and becoming stressful each day. Just finished my performance review yesterday with my boss, and luckily I fare "average" given I am "raw" to this new line I am handling currently.

Past Sat, brought Chloe to her first trip to the zoo. I was quite excited in the beginning, and hoping to take alot of pictures for Chloe. But by the time we reached zoo at about 10.30am, I was quite tired, and Chloe as well, as we woke up too early to prepare for the trip at about 8.30am. Nonetheless, she seemed fascinated and stunned when she saw the animals. Haha. Sadly, not even an hour, she fell down while walking on the rough pavement and bleed on her knee. I didn't notice that anyone saw it, but the zoo's personnel saw it and gave us a hand and helped Chloe to clean her wound with antiseptic wipe. So nice of her and great service!

We managed to catch a proper animal show at the Rainforest amphitheatre. Why I said proper, cos this is the only show we arrived early and sat at the front row while waiting for it to start. I think is a great show and Chloe sat through the whole show without fidgeting. Haha, she is really stunned when she saw monkeys walking on the "line" above her, and other small animals, peacocks. LOL. She didn't laugh or smile, but she did wave to the animals and asked them to come back when they disappear behind the scene.

Before we headed back to the exit, we dropped by the water play. Mr afraid of her wound so did not let her go down to play, but just carried her and let her touch the water. But she is happy still. Haha.

Headed back at around 5pm, all of us was really tired from all the walking. But still, Chloe has all the energy even after we went to my grandma's house for dinner. She was still walking here and there.. talking, shouting.. Sometimes really envy her, where she got all the energy!

Praying for my ah ma that she could be well soon, and be happy no matter what comes. She has contracted cancer at her pancreas and will be undergoing a major operation. Hope all will go well for her though we all know she is very very very worried, and even my mum has no mood to work everyday.

Anyways, weekends is coming, look forward to Natas fair to go book a Taiwan trip for our belated honeymoon. Hee.

See! She can't sit still!

First stop. Phototaking with parrots.

See her injury!!!

First Vdae with Chloe!

On vdae morning, I made "clever" plans, to arrive earlier at Suntec as to the proposed timing 12.15pm to meet Ber. I forbade Chloe to have her mid morning nap, so she will be tired and fell asleep on the stroller when we were window-shopping at Suntec. Who knows, I stupidly stepped into Toys' R Us and she brightened up and struggled to get off the stroller to play with the toys.. Around 12pm, we left Toys' R Us and within a few steps, Chloe lied on Mr's shoulders to a sleeping position. When we about to reach River Palace Restaurant for our yummy ala-carte buffet, she was almost closing her eyes. "YES!" I was thinking to myself. Who knows, once we entered the restaurant, on hearing Ber's voice and us talking, she immediately sprang up with her bright eyes opened! THAT'S IT! CRY!

We did really catch up on how's everyone in Visa doing, really missed the whole lot of them, but now, gone has gone, remained are the only few loyal ones. Haha. Main reason meeting up with Ber is to play with his DSLR, I am really tempted to buy one D90, but I also can't bear to part off with my $1800. How nice if money can drop from the sky, then I can buy it and take nice pictures of Chloe! LOL. Maybe I will wait for IT fair to come and see what good offer there is.

While we were eating as usual, the small one will just want to get off her baby chair and "socialise". She will walk around the table to gain attention, but she already got attention when we were guided to our table and the waitresses will go "WOW! Her eyes so beautiful!" But that's not enough for the little one, she will extend her "social pass" to other tables and saying HI! Sometimes I really cannot stand her, must she be so "attention seeker"?? haha. Lucky she is cute else I think no one will bother with her. Haha. She even got one lollipop from one of the captains there. I already told one of them she cannot eat sweet but maybe another gave it to her.
Before we left, one waitress told me she would like to take picture for her, but I really dunno how to ans her, cos the cameraman has already made his exit and she has no camera, so I just smile and went off. Haha.

In all, from the restaurant to Millenia Walk, Ber took for us about 200 pictures, he even joked lucky this is digital, if it is film, he will start charging me.. Haha. I hope he has a fun day with us, despite being our cameraman and us being the models! LOL.

Enjoy the pictures, and note the difference between point-and-shoot and DSLR!

Chloe @ 14 months

Chloe turned 14 months on last Friday. 4 more months and she will be ready to go to playgroup. Is really a tough decision to be made which school should we enrol her to, whether accessible or not, half day or full day, budget, blah blah blah. I guess this is the pain process for parents, all the way up to their secondary school. I really hope we can make a decision soon..

Last sat we went to Caterpillar's Cove at Ngee Ann Poly and we brought that little girl along. The place is nice, give people a comfortable feeling, and a nice place to be in for a school. The acting principal firstly intro to us the school, the ciriculum, then suddenly after the principal finished one sentence, chloe went "HMM" meaning YES. She acted as if she really was listening and made her acknowledgement 2 times. Made us all laughed. Faint.

Next we went to their learning corner, where there are alot of mirrors even the floor, she suggested us to put her down to see her reaction. Expectedly, she wasn't afraid at all, and she was smiling and enjoying her own LOOK! The principal was shocked she was enjoying herself, given other kids, they might be crying. Haha, I told her that she is very vain, as she kissed herself in the mirror at home as well! LOL.

Next moment, when we put her down, she was already walking all over the place, but despite following the principal as she was told to. I already can imagine her going to school and enjoying herself. She even interacted with the teachers there while we spoke to the principal about the cost. Sadly, the cost is too high for us, if we do have extras, we would definitely send her here. The cost is about $950 per month which is really too high, though, yes you are paying for the quality and all the degree holders teachers, while mostly other centres are only having diplomas. Nevertheless, is a good experience for Chloe and us. When we about to go, she even bid us goodbye while she was carried by the teacher. URRGHHH.. I hope she will always be so well-liked by all the teachers she come across next time.

Due to my mum had to go take care of my ah ma at her home, so last weekend, we didn't go back to my mum's. We were so bored at home, dunno what to do, and suddenly Mr suggest we go out after dinner to buy Chloe a new toy(after seeing Mr's cousin's daughter got those walking toys, we tot maybe can get her one as well), then I asked where, expected him to say IMM or Jurong Point. But instead he told me Taka. I was happie but then again, I was lazy. So ended up, we went Jurong Point, but is a fruitless trip, cos we couldn't find any of those toys. And Chloe went around pinching other kids, when we put her down to roam. Zzzz.. I really cannot imagine whether or not, she will do that when she go to school, but I think 80% she will do that. DUNNO WHY. Especially when she want to snatch a particular toy. I guess kids are kids.

Sun evening went to my ah ma's house for steamboat dinner together with my ah kim's sisters. Before reaching the place, I got to tell Chloe not to cry, and smile and do the gong xi gong xi action. And she replied me "HAO" = OK in chinese. Surprisingly, she really didn't cry, which she always do when she go my ah ma's house. Maybe she likes the attention of everyone calling her name, she was happy and very soon, she was enjoying herself and walking here and there and blabbering her own language which made everyone laugh. Like indian language. Haha. I think she will be a perfect baby if she didn't know how to throw temper, don't pinch people, don't be so overly active. Haha.

Looking forward towards this weekend to have an vday outing lunch with Ber, Mr and Chloe. I wonder what funny thing will spring up.

Haha, surprisingly, she didn't pose cheeky faces this time round.
