Chloe @ 14 months

Chloe turned 14 months on last Friday. 4 more months and she will be ready to go to playgroup. Is really a tough decision to be made which school should we enrol her to, whether accessible or not, half day or full day, budget, blah blah blah. I guess this is the pain process for parents, all the way up to their secondary school. I really hope we can make a decision soon..

Last sat we went to Caterpillar's Cove at Ngee Ann Poly and we brought that little girl along. The place is nice, give people a comfortable feeling, and a nice place to be in for a school. The acting principal firstly intro to us the school, the ciriculum, then suddenly after the principal finished one sentence, chloe went "HMM" meaning YES. She acted as if she really was listening and made her acknowledgement 2 times. Made us all laughed. Faint.

Next we went to their learning corner, where there are alot of mirrors even the floor, she suggested us to put her down to see her reaction. Expectedly, she wasn't afraid at all, and she was smiling and enjoying her own LOOK! The principal was shocked she was enjoying herself, given other kids, they might be crying. Haha, I told her that she is very vain, as she kissed herself in the mirror at home as well! LOL.

Next moment, when we put her down, she was already walking all over the place, but despite following the principal as she was told to. I already can imagine her going to school and enjoying herself. She even interacted with the teachers there while we spoke to the principal about the cost. Sadly, the cost is too high for us, if we do have extras, we would definitely send her here. The cost is about $950 per month which is really too high, though, yes you are paying for the quality and all the degree holders teachers, while mostly other centres are only having diplomas. Nevertheless, is a good experience for Chloe and us. When we about to go, she even bid us goodbye while she was carried by the teacher. URRGHHH.. I hope she will always be so well-liked by all the teachers she come across next time.

Due to my mum had to go take care of my ah ma at her home, so last weekend, we didn't go back to my mum's. We were so bored at home, dunno what to do, and suddenly Mr suggest we go out after dinner to buy Chloe a new toy(after seeing Mr's cousin's daughter got those walking toys, we tot maybe can get her one as well), then I asked where, expected him to say IMM or Jurong Point. But instead he told me Taka. I was happie but then again, I was lazy. So ended up, we went Jurong Point, but is a fruitless trip, cos we couldn't find any of those toys. And Chloe went around pinching other kids, when we put her down to roam. Zzzz.. I really cannot imagine whether or not, she will do that when she go to school, but I think 80% she will do that. DUNNO WHY. Especially when she want to snatch a particular toy. I guess kids are kids.

Sun evening went to my ah ma's house for steamboat dinner together with my ah kim's sisters. Before reaching the place, I got to tell Chloe not to cry, and smile and do the gong xi gong xi action. And she replied me "HAO" = OK in chinese. Surprisingly, she really didn't cry, which she always do when she go my ah ma's house. Maybe she likes the attention of everyone calling her name, she was happy and very soon, she was enjoying herself and walking here and there and blabbering her own language which made everyone laugh. Like indian language. Haha. I think she will be a perfect baby if she didn't know how to throw temper, don't pinch people, don't be so overly active. Haha.

Looking forward towards this weekend to have an vday outing lunch with Ber, Mr and Chloe. I wonder what funny thing will spring up.

Haha, surprisingly, she didn't pose cheeky faces this time round.
