Chloe's 1st Birthday!

Happy 1st Birthday Chloe!

It falls on last Sat 6 Dec 2008. Group of me and my volunteers gathered at Central Green Condo at 3.30pm to do up the club house. I was late. Keke. I had to go pump helium to the balloons and so suay! Chloe's favourite character Pooh Bear had hole and leaked helium, ended up we had to plastered it hoping it stayed throughout the night and it did, heng! No one notice!Then we had to wait for Mr's fren to drop by IMM to pass him the ang bao cos he got no time to attend the party. So sweet of him!

Mind was really empty what to do and how to give out the job duties. Lucky got my organiser there to help dedicate jobs out. We had much fun after doing up the place, with the silly me kept on wanting to take pictures with all of them with the 4 winnie the pooh characters big mylars. Haha. They also cannot tahan me! Haha. Luckily we managed to finish up by 5.30pm, buffet started in time, cake arrived on time without any hiccups, saying my toys were lost! Made me so worried! Everything in place. Nice!

My parents first to arrive, and my mum also ask my dad to help her take pic of the pooh bear wall. Haha. Relatives started to arrive and too, my little cousin, took pic with the mylars.
At last the party sort of started around 6.30pm when guests almost arrive. But sadly to say, some really "put plane" the very last min. Food left quite alot, ended up we have to find containers, plastic bags, etc to tabao the food home. Haha.

LUckily the star of the day, surprised us when I knew she slept from 1plus pm to 5pm. Maybe she knew this is her party so therefore she slept so much to stay energized throughout. True enough, only at the beginning she was abit shocked and scared, WHY SO MANY PPLE! But slowly she opened up, and walking around, everyone also carried her and as usual, what Ber said "Evil smile!" He even asked me and Mr who had that smile that she learnt from, seriously NONE OF US. Dunno where she learnt from. Cheeky girl. :P

Cake cutting time!! Once the cake was unleashed, snapping of so many cameras began! Haha. Me and Mr was satisfied with the design of the cake. Happy. During cake cutting, I had one personalized birthday song specially with Chloe's name in it, but I guessed no one really heard it when I played it during cake cutting cos everyone is singing so loudly.. Haha. Another surprised was that when we all started singing, Chloe was smiling, she was enjoying the attention. And at this point, me and Mr felt so touched that we almost cried. I could see Mr's eyes watery. Same goes for mine. Haha. Argh.. we are emotional animals! Haha. But really thanked everyone for giving Chloe such a beautiful party and memory for me and Mr.

Most left after eating the yummy cake which recieved alot of compliments and asked me where did I bought it from. Pine Gardens. Keke. All raved about the Lychee Martini (second layered) cake. First layer was Blackforest, and the third layer was Citrus the non alcoholic layer for the kids.

Beginning I was thinking the most tiring will be the tearing down of the decorations, but I felt it was much more fun than doing up the place. Dunno why. More relaxed. And we even had the time to sit down, eat, drink, and chat/joke with our ex colleagues cum volunteers. And we even "snatched" for the leftovers of the treat bags which was meant for the kids. Haha.

Overall the party was a success, only letdown was some couldn't make it at the very last min. I am awaiting to view all the photos shot by Hawk, my volunteer cum camera man.
