Busy yet fun weekend!

Sat met up with twin to discuss Chloe's birthday bash's details. We sat at suntec's kfc, the feeling was like doing final year project. Haha. We searched online for cheap deals, comparing prices, taking down addresses to visit the shops to see the birthday supplies locally before deciding whether to buy it from US. And the funniest was imagining the height of the backdrop, how tall is the mylar, using my height as the base. :x So can imagine the mylar is only half my size which is very small. Not to what we wanted. So the search and hunting continues on 11 Oct to my aunt's place to take down the measurements of the function room! So fun and excited. We even joked if it is successful, we will placed the pictures online and offer our charges to anyone who is interested to hire us as their children's party planners! Haha.. a part time source of income. :o)

Then we decided to walk to concourse to check out the supplies' prices at around 2.30pm since we still got some time left before we end our discussion. Then ended up, concourse shopping mall closed down for renovation. Zzz. Then we walked to Tekka Mall to check. Is really damn long walk lo until today my leg's muscles are aching! But lucky our efforts paid off, we found our goodie bag's supplies! Yuppie! One down.

Faster rush home at 4plus as my aunt is coming to fetch me at 6pm for my Mexican cousin's bdae. It was at Cheng Soon Gardens, one of those big houses. I love to visit those big big houses and check out their decor. This house was big, but quite empty with decors. Not much decors. But what captured us was the 9 feet pool table and the dart board besides the garden. We only started playing after our dinner when everyone was busy eating. Haha. Then we got a chance to play. So long never touched pool, lucky I still got compliments from my uncle. But after being thrashed by my bro, I totally lost morale, and even worst when all my uncles, aunties and dad watching us play. Haha. But luckily only lost 3 balls to my bro. Then later my dad and uncles started to play dartboard, who shot the bull eye wins $1. Whoever wins, will always tell me "See, So easy money!" Faint, set me and Mr laughing. Cos that uncle of ours really damn funni. Even Chloe also like him alot! And needless to say, everytime we have such gathering, is a relax time-off for me and Mr, cos everyone will snatch to carry Chloe!

At night when we returned home, my bro and his gf already reached home before us and tried to be a bartender mixing alochol drinks. The moment we stepped into the house, he quickly brought out from the fridge 2 glasses of long island tea for us to sample. Zzz.. Become guinea pigs. He even gave me a few pages of recipe to choose, ma chiam like Drinks Menu. But ended up, he don't have the ingredients for the drink I wan. So he made me a Magarita. Too much tequila liaoz.. Not nice. I still prefer going to pub. Haha.

Sun after watching the Meet Dave movie at home, we decided to make a trip down to Tah Ching Road to see the showflat. A 4-room flat. Very small. Even my maid also commented the kitchen so small. Haha. But there is a already renovated 4-room showflat for the public to view. Not bad. There is really a difference between EMPTY and after nicely done up with floorings and furnitures. But we decided not to take 4 room cos is really very cramped and small. Weekends has past just like that.

Looking forward to this Sat's gathering with Sok, Huilian and her girl. Yay! And of cos, waiting for my new life to be leased on Nov 5. Thank GOD.

Weekends suppose to be freer, such that I should have time to whip up the baby food and stored into the ice trays and up to the freezer so that the maid can use it anytime when she cook porridge for the princess. But ended up, NO TIME. I bought all the foods on Friday night, thinking I will do it over the weekends, who knows, my mum asked me back for lunch on Sat since last week she didn't really played with Chloe. Thinking is ok, there is still Sunday. And who knows again, Mr's sis asked us to go Vivocity when we came back from my mum's place. So there goes my weekends! Maybe I shall ask Mr to do it for me since he is off work today and tomorrow. And he should do his a little Daddy's part. Hehe.

Chloe has started a little to sayang her little cousin (Sis in law's girl, Riann). Her style of sayang is really special. Maybe a little shy. She will use her head to lightly nod on the baby's head. Haha. Cute isn't it. Or she will use a her index finger to poke a little on the baby's hand. Haha.

Today's blog is short. Not much happenings but busy. And didn't even take any photos until the very last minute at night yesterday.

Tired weekendz.

Another early Sat morning to start the day with. Head so pain, suffered a little hangover from Fri night's drinks. But managed to survive through the day. During my sleep from 4am to 7am, I have to plan in the sub conscious mind what time should I wake Chloe up so that she can have her late morning nap so that she will be alert during the 12.30pm photoshoot. But end up I was too tired to wake up at 7am to play with her, but lucky she did managed to catch a little nap at 10plus till 11 plus.

The photoshoot overall was so-so. Not as good as medicorp I can say. Of cos la, mediacorp has to produce excellent pictures ma! During the shoot, Chloe was not smiling or laughing, she was just STUNNED and in her own world playing the toys she sees there! Then all of us was like clowns making her laugh and look at the camera! Sweat! Even I have to dance ballet there for her but she was not laughing like she was at home! Grrr.. But ended up, took a few smiley pictures, she was warmed up towards the end.. She enjoyed the part when she was put in a basket. Haha. It all ended after 2hours! I was even targetting to end after an hour. Faint. Photos will only be ready by 6 weeks.

After that, we have to rush over to sis in law place to fetch her go to Parkway to buy her girl's pram. And ended up, we bought one wooden high chair for Chloe. Haha. She enjoyed sitting in it at the dept store so Mr decided to buy it, since it can be converted to table and chair which can be used for later stage. Cost us 109.

At 6pm have to rushed back to West Coast for my aunt's house warming. Whoa, when I entered, all my relatives were already there, cos we are late.. Haha. Then I saw alot of kids, man! They surely have grown up! What I wanted to see was my 2 cousins from Mexico. The last time I saw Joanna was a small little girl, now she has grown up to be a pretty girl, and she looked alike to Charmaine! Too bad I didn't bring my camera along. :(
And she super like to carry Chloe around. Haha. And even fed her water. Seeing so many kids, give me the tot that Chloe's 1 year old party will be fun! Haha.. have asked my aunt to book her function room at Tiong Bahru as well. Waiting for the first discussion with Twin next week..

Then Sun early morning turned up at Sis in law's place for girl's one month celebration. Then while she went to collect the cakes, me and Mr brought Chloe for a swim. The moment she touched the cold water she make noise. So we went slow, with me going into the water first then she followed. Then we hit the water and she followed. She liked to hit the water and when the water splashed on her face she laughed. Too bad I didn't video it down. Sad. But she definitely dun like the neck float!!! Even I demo to her, she still dun like, maybe cos her head smaller, and when she wore it, the height of the float actually covered until her mouth so it made her can't see much, she made noise. Haha. There were alot of kids as well, but little interaction cos mostly can already run around. But when we brought her to make fren with another same age as her, Chloe point out her index finger (which she likes to do this all the time) and POKE the little girl's EYES! Lucky she didn't cry though she seemed to want to. HAHA. Noti Chloe.

Chloe turned 9 months' old

On Sat, Chloe turned 9 months' old. Wondered at which month she will know how to walk, since now that she is cruising already. On this day, she was also due for her injection. When we reached there, the nurse told us to go to the lab to do her blood test for Hap B. I telling Mr to let her play with his handphone when doing the blood test so that she won't cry or whatsoever. But who knows, when the needle prick on her forth finger she cried like mad. So ke lian. And they have to squeeze so much blood out. Sad. But later a while she stopped crying, and she kept looking at her finger which is stuck with handiplast. Haha. Returned back to the clinic, her turn for the injection. Doc say she really slow weight gain, she is now only 7.4kg, 67 cm. She belong to the lower end eater. Haha. This time round the injection, though I distracted her with the toys Doc had, but she still cried like mad again. Poor Chloe. But she stopped crying when she was offered biscuit. Haha. Tam Jiak Gui. Haha. Dunno this time round she sees Doc she cried, compared to other times she was smiling at him, maybe that's why Doc say now they know who they like or dislike. A bit of stranger anxiety. While we were waiting for our turn to pay, the nurse called out "CHLOE TAN" and that time I was already standing infront of her, she was shocked and even asked me, you sure she is Chloe Tan??? Then I said YES! She replied, she looked like boy. Diaoz... lolz.

Nothing special over the weekend, except for Sun, went to Crystal Jade at IMM for dim sum in the morning with my family, celebrating Dad's birthday. And surprised him with Andy Lau's concert tickets. We actually told him that all the tickets sold out. Haha. So fun and happy to give people surprises! Then went shop around then went home for a nap.

Though nothing special but felt so tired from running around.

This coming weekend will be worst. But it will be fun! Hopefully.

2 days of leave has past so fast. And here I am back at work. :( And supposed US will cover for me, but so shitty nothing has been done and end up my cases missed SLAs. What to do..

Anyway I had a great bdae this year! Though not very fanciful but still happie with all the hao liao to eat. Especially roast duck!

On 2nd Sept 2008, every yr I will stay up until 12midnight but this yr I am so tired that I went to sleep at 11pm. Then at 12midnight, Mr brought a cake with candle to the room to wake me up to blow the cake! My GOD!! I was like still in my dream then dunno is it real ornot. But is real. Later I went toilet to pee. Haha. Thank you BB. Wed Mr and me as usual every year, we will go to our KTV session, but this year, after KTV we went to Body Contours Spa at Royal Brothers Building. The spa is so-so only. And the lady gave damn bad attitude when we do not want to purchase anything. Doubt we will go again! Then later I got cravings for roast duck again, and I brought Mr to Asian Kitchen since he has never tried it before. Haha.. 2 times roast duck for a week!

Then on Thurs, met with twin. As usual every year, on our birthdays we have to go KTV. This time round I went KTV for 2 days which left me dunno what to sing on Thurs. Haha. After which twin accompanied me to do something which I never did before in my whole life, and it is the first and last time. Buying of most expensive Andy Lau concert tickets. $198. Even I go to other concert I always buy the cheapest, but who ask Andy Lau to be Mr's idol. And also twin psycho me say this might be Andy's last time here in Singapore, for he being so old le. Haha. So my $400 fly fly fly. Eat grass for the next 3 months le. Haha. But I think it is worth it! He is so SHUAI! His voice so nice! And twin still ask me to bring booster seat to raise myself higher so I can see better, as the front seats all are not levelled. :( Then for herself, so she is so ZHI SUAI. She bought her idol, Lee Hom, $198 ticket as well just for herself. ALONE. Tomorrow she will be buying the cheapest ticket for Andy Lau. Lucky for Andy Lau concert, my parents going with her, so they can sit together and enjoy the concert. Haha. We later went to bakerzin for our early dinner, and the waiter there so sweet, "poke" a candle on top of my warm chocolate cake. Oooh.. And she also showed me her holiday HK pictures, and we even planned to go Taiwan next yr together, and Japan in the next 3 or 4 yrs time when Chloe grows up. So excited!! At least I know for sure, twin gonna be stuck to me forever!

Today had Kenny Rogers with Liow. Today is my last day having hao liao.. and also end of my birthday celebrations. I beginning to felt birthdays when getting older seemed to be more "like any normal day". Maybe when I reach 35, I will have a big celebration at some club! Haha. To mark the mid of my life! Haha.

Await for tomorrow when Chloe turns 9 months and due for her injection after been so long we last visited Dr Keoy. Haha.
