Chloe's first swim

At last, on Saturday afternoon, having a nice weather, we brought Chloe for her first swim. So happy getting ready her new Baby Gap swimwear and sunblock lotion. Then off we went to HomeTeamNS clubhouse. Always like to go there for swim during my preggie days cos the place seldom packed with people. Even on Sats.

Reached there, we took off her pampers and change her swimwear. Then the security guard who was sitting there somehow like tell us have to wear pampers. So we put her on a new piece. Then suddenly again he came over said cannot wear pampers cos pampers have a substance that will spread hand foot mouth disease. Only can wear the Huggies Swim diapers. Then we have to take off her pampers again! Irritating, wear and take off. Even Chloe also thinking what we trying to do. Anyways, quickly we went into the water, quite warm, didn't feel any coldness on such a hot weather.

Chloe's first reaction was blur face. She didn't know how much surrounding her got so much water. But after a few seconds, she started to hit the water like she used to in the bathtub. Then we try to make her have a frog style pattern, when we try to make her face-down on the water, her legs naturally kicked up and she started to kick the water like swimming. Maybe this is what we called Babies know how to swim naturally as their original "environment" comes from a water bag! Towards the end, she smiled, really hope she enjoyed herself. We will try to bring her here every Sat. But she caught a cold maybe from the swim, so have to wait until she is fully recover before her next swim. If not, we buy those mini pool to put at home, but is like wastage of water just to fill up that mini pool and I find it no enjoyment at all. Lolz.

Fashion shoot for Mother & Baby magazine

Waited for yesterday to come since last Friday, to go down to Mediacorp Publishing studio for Chloe's Summer Baby fashion shoot for Mother & Baby magazine.

Initally, keep praying that she will behave and hope everything goes smoothly. Luckily my prayers were answered. Generally, she was well-behaved and smile and laugh almost throughout the session except till the end she started to get cranky.

Before the photo shoot started, we have to dress her up, and the theme was Summer Baby, so I tot wow, can get to see Chloe wearing swim suit or those very little dressings, but who knows, she was dressed in long sleeves, layer after layer. That is why she started to get cranky cos babies don't like to change clothes so much as it has to put over their heads. Then we have to use toys and gave her water to drink to distract her. First set of clothes was OK as only 2 layers, but for the second set of clothes which consist of 3 layers really made her flare up and shout and cry. Hahaz. The lady was pretty and nice, and also have big eyes and they even comparing whose eyes bigger! Faintz. And the funniest part was I saw the baby who came before us, look like Chloe, and the lady said all 3 babies actually look alike! LOL.

I was proud of Chloe cos she can sit independantly for so long and finish the whole photo shoot. Only except losing balance once and lucky I managed to catch her! Lolz! She was happy and the photos turn out so nice. But I can only get the soft copies after the Aug issue is launched.

Really anxious for the magazine to launch to see how the whole effect was like for the 3 babies!

Disapointed. No swimming again this week due to rainy weather. Sianz. Ended up this weekend abit slack. Apart from going for a walk at IMM on Sat, eating dim sum with my parents, and going for a walk at Jurong point on Sun, nothing interesting happen. Only aiming to buy Chloe a high chair for her meals which at least need to cost us $179 for a medium quality with cushion seats.

So this blog will mainly pictures consists of past 2 weeks. Chloe's next injection is only due in Sept after my birthday. Hehe..

Looking forward to this Thurs for the Mother N Baby magazine editorial photo shoot. Hopefully is not "fake" after knowing that Chloe is only 6 months old, just like she was not able to join the Young Parent's magazine baby cover's photo contest. Still waiting for the editor's reply.. *pray*

What a weekend!

Geared up to take Chloe to a photo shoot to join the Young Parents' baby magazine cover, but end up when I reached there, a guy told me that she is too young for the contest and only difference by 2 months. I was angry deep inside, cos when I called up to make the booking the lady told me no age limit now this guy tell me that they changed the rules regulation recently and even showed me the contest form. Really waste my time to go there, lucky is nearby, but waste the parking fee. But ended up, my mum took pictures for me and Chloe. Faintz.

Second sad thing is my red crumpler bag is out of stock which Mr wanted to give me as a surprise gift. So ended up, we only went to collect his blue crumpler bag and mine have to wait. Argh..

Sun afternoon intend to bring Chloe for a swim at Home Team NS but not enough time. Morning we went to choose a new indonesia maid which cost us to top up 1.5k. What an amount. Indonesia maid recruitment fee is higher than of Myanmar reason being JPB agency specialises in Indonesia maid and they have a better training centre to train their maids therefore the price. Haiz.. I really wondering which month will me and Mr be rich, cos now every month we always broke by paying this and that. But we got no choice. Mr console himself by saying if money can solve the problem then money is not a problem. Faint.

Then after came back, sat a while then went out to west mall to buy his dad a handphone for father's day. He picked an LG touchscreen phone. Quite nice similar colour and pattern like mine but not a PDA phone.
At night, Mr went to a wedding dinner, leaving me at home, playing with dad's phone, bluetoothing Chloe's pictures inside. And dad helping me take care of Chloe and maid ironing clothes. That's is how weekend is being spent! Still feeling disappointed with not able to take the photo shoot. The person still tell me to join next year lo! Feel like boxing him. Haha.

Anniversary n Chloe turn 6 months

Time really flies and we been married for a year. Due to our anni is tdy on a Monday and we do not want to take leave so we actually celebrated over the weekend. Another busy and running around weekend. Hmm let me recap.

On sat was Chloe's monthly injection day and checkup. We tot she would be heavier by a kg, but who knows when she lied on the weighing machine and she is only 6.4kg, from the last month checkup, she only grown like 400g!! Not even 500g! My god, her height now was 63cm. Doc say really slow weight gain, and she is petite build. But in terms of her height and weight, is porportional. Haiz.. wondering will she be tall like her dad, or short like me?? lolz. But lucky she is a girl not boy. So no matter she tall or short also never mind. Haha.. consoling myself. Of cos, hope she can be tall like what Mr said, so that she can have the option to be a model if she wants to. An OPTION to be what she wants. During the injection, me and Mr was expecting her to cry loudly for a little while like the previous visit, but she didn't! Doc distracted her by hitting the plastic container on his table, so I followed, and he injected. And she didn't cry or make a noise but smile! Maybe she was really so engrossed by the sound of the plastic container and she wanted to go grab it until she has no pain on her butt! Faint. Doc grabbed her up and make her stand and she was playing happily with the doc. My god, dunno is it her skin too thick or what. Haha. Oh, this time visit we brought our maid along, still rem very long ago, whenever we visit the doc, most of the couples have maid with them, and we asked whether will we ever have a maid and bring her here.. and who knows, months later we really have a maid and brought her here! Haha.

After doc visit, dad and maid brought Chloe back to rest while me and Mr went to revenue house for a survey on milk taste, lucky the survey was like only 15mins and we got $30. Haha, but the next moment this cash was gone, cos we went to Far East Shopping center, one of the game shop and bought Marion Kart Wii for $69. Haha. And an extra wheel for $19. See! Even the combination of our survey money also cannot cover the game! Lolz. But the game was fun and so hard to pass other drivers! Though fun but played until peck che!

On sun morning, we went to KTV at Orchard, our usual KTV hunt, always go there whenever we have special occasion. :) Sang until 5pm and went SHOPPING at taka. Went to paragon to buy my La Senza bras! At last I bought them. Then went to Taka children's dept and bought her Winnie Pooh bed set for $135!!! Cos she does not have a blanket so might as well buy the whole set instead of just one blanket, cos Mr said don't look nice and compatible with her current bedsheet. Haha. I wasn't expecting him to say that cos I tot he won't mind the incompatible look. :P Then bought the washing bottles liquid and shampoo. And TOY from fisherprice! A wobbling penguin which never falls when hit, hope this toy can make Chloe the lazy pig to crawl faster and eventually sit up to be the same height at the penguin. Haha. Then went to Baby Gap at wisma and bought her 2 bottoms. She does not have proper and nice bottoms to go with her tops when she go out, and Baby Gap got 30% for all the clothes. Actually wanted to get Guess from Taka since was the cheapest brand for the kids, but who knows actually not very cheap and not much sale also, one bottom was like $40 plus so I tot why not just get at Gap which is much cheaper. Mr was watching me walk here and there, looking for nice bottoms for Chloe, and shaking his head, thinking everytime go out have to go back with at least one clothing for Chloe. Haha. But this time, I only bought bottoms which she doesn't have nice one. She only had those home shorts which is meant to be wore at home and not compatible with her nice tops that her godma buy! Haha.. The shopping ended at Gap and I got none for myself. No clothes only bras. Not enough time to shop for mine. Maybe next time before GSS ends. Haha, I asked Mr why I so happy though I bought nothing for myself and only spent on Chloe. Answered for myself, cos if she look nice, I also happy ma! Lolz.

This very first year of anni I decided not to go for expensive buffet dinner or any posh restaurant. But to his fren's seafood stall at Pasir Panjang Food Centre! Yes! Hawker centre! Cheap and nice and can save money for other use! Haha.. can buy more clothes for Chloe! :P We ordered 3 shell-ed food, oyster omelette (wow very nice!) and salad you tiao (wow so crispy!). All for the amount of $30 with the discounts his fren gave! See only $30! and so nice! and even had chat with his funny fren. See, if we go to hotel buffet, our damage plus all the shopping we did will be so GREAT! Oh no, I become so auntie.. and calculative. :P But we had a happy time still, even without that candle light thing. Maybe next time should bring candle there and lit it to have a candle light hawker centre seafood dinner! :o)

Oh yes, and when I weighed myself at the clinic, I am now 47KG!! No more "5" digit! Haha.

Busy weekend..

Busy. Fun weekend.

Beginning from Sat early morning, 8.30am, proceed to Macritchie Reserv, to run with Mr's frenz. Actually I don't really like to run these days but think of wanna slim down, have to go. Since going with Mr and somemore to a reserv to run, why not, since is also having a good weather with no sun. Just cloudy. They wanted to run 5km. But who knows, when I was perked up for a run, until I reached 2km, the 'gen' on the back of my left foot heel to ankle PAINED! I couldn't walk up slope or run. Can only walked on flat ground or down slope. Sick. Mr then say me ma fan, everything bring me go out, something bound to happen one. And I spoilt his run. Sad-ded. So pain yet no consoling. Hehe but ended he piggy-back me during the down slope. Lolz. It was really kind of scary running in the forest with dark clouds, imagine running alone. AH!! And then someone suddenly dragged u into the woods. Super scary, think I watched too much TV. :X After the run, we went to eat crispy prata at The Prata House. It was nice but I found it oily and fattening! Haha. Then later went to Redhill market with Mr's fren to collect the seafood we ordered from him for the night BBQ. So much seafood as usual and dun even want us to pay but how can.. Even fren also need to pay some else how to sustain business moreover, is his parents' not his. Went home immediately, thinking we can rest a while before setting off to sister's place for a swim and BBQ. But who knows, went there after bathe as birthday mama (my mil) want to play MJ with her frenz at Sis place. When we reached there, already Tin Orh Orh, and rain started. So sad, no swim for Chloe. I still come with big hope with my camera to shoot her in her new Baby Gap Swimwear but who knows.. So ended up, me and Mr went to shop at Parkway Parade before heading to Kallang to fetch his frenz over. I looked forward to this BBQ, cos been a long time I had one, and drooled at the tot of BBQ food, but who knows, we ate really little, and there is so much food left. Maybe cos, this time we had Chloe with us, so can't really had the freedom to do BBQ-ing and eating, cos eyes are always on her, making sure she is fine, etc. But overall, still ok. Went home around 11.30pm, already so tired, but we still need to bathe Chloe cos she is so sticky cos of the hot weather and everyone also carried her, kept saying Oh she is so cute! Her eyes so big! luckily she didn't misbehave much. Haha. A day has passed just like that.

Sun early morning around 8.30am woke up again, this time to Taka crystal jade for my ah ma's bday gathering. Another long day ahead for me. Lucky already planned how to dress Chloe up. Wore her new Polo dress, with her new hairband and shoes I bought her .. Hehe. But the shoes too big la, she wear kick a bit drop off. Haha. My cousins and my brother saw her hairband, say wow she rambo or ninja?! Faintz. But cute what. After dim sum, all of us went our own separate ways. My bro and gf went GSS. Me went to Simei with Sok to do rebonding, followed by Angela's concert at night. Mr went to see his PS3 then went home on his own. And oh yes, Chloe was kidnapped by my parents. Haha.

Angela's concert was half wow and half not wow. Haha. Wow is she really sings so well and her voice is so nice and powerful, even her own original voice when she was talking. She has put on a little weight which makes her look more beautiful and not the skinny build. The whole concert is live band, appreciated concerts using live band and not just purely music played out from player. Her guest-of-honours are WOW, Fan Fan and Guo Jing. The thresome sang, and really can hear their "he yin" so well. I was really amazing when everyone at the concert sang together when she sang her first slow song, and suddenly she stopped singing, and could hear the whole hall sang. First concert I been to that everyone sang in unison and loud to be heard, given Expo hall is really big and spacious and we went so far behind, leaving a very big space from the middle audience. Sok still consoled saying, maybe she will come behind here to shake hands like Taiwan, hence the big space infront of us. Duhz. Anyway, she didn't. The not WOW is the concert only last 1.5hours, and some songs that I expected to hear, she didn't sing. It is my first concert that it lasted so fast, maybe due to she is still recovering from her illness. Must be a serious illness as she almost cried when she thanked her family for supporting and taking care of her. I almost wanted to cry with her as well. Haha. But overall, I never regretted coming but only disappointed that it lasted so short than usual. :( Yet another day has past by.

I was so tired. Until in the middle of the night, when Chloe woke up for milk, I didn't even know that. I didn't even know when Mr moved her bed (surely there is noise when he dragged the bed). I didn't even felt that Mr pulled me up from the bed when he was afraid that my head knock on Chloe' bed while he pushing it. I didn't even felt Mr notily pinched me. Gosh. This showed that I am dead beat cos usually I am a light sleeper. I wish I can have more sleep.
